Seth Mulvihill was born in Bettendorf, Iowa, and moved to Eugene, Oregon around 2005. He teaches music technology and music theory at Lane Community College, and he likes to make sounds (electronic and otherwise) turn into music on a regular basis. He writes for and performs in -- as a keyboardist and vocalist, mostly -- more bands than he can easily keep track of, including Wellington Drive (covers/originals/three-part harmony), and Steve Arriola and the Willin' (Americana). Mulvihill earned a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, where he studied music composition under Dr. Alex Lubet. He also paints, is taller than average and has been known to sport a beard on occasion.
